Hello babes! As you all know, Friday was International Women’s Day and it was incredible seeing so many women utilizing their voice, energy, and spirit to celebrate what we, as females, are capable of. Spreading love and empowerment through girl power messages, quotes, and personal photos was a way to not only celebrate our ability, but as a reminder that we are unstoppable and the future really is ours.
As much of an avid shopper I am at sites like Zara or ASOS, I find myself getting —dare I say— bored and craving to spend my hard-earned dimes elsewhere. The excitement I have for discovering new labels is worth the treasure hunt in the first place. Sure these former sites are amongst the beloved, affordable one-stop-shop for a reason, but I want to look to other brands where their styles aren’t widely seen across a million and one Instagram feeds, ya know? In a world where we are constantly consuming content and always wanting the next best thing, I find that behavior within myself with wanting to find next-level pieces.
Check out the brands that are completely underrated and 100% worth checking out.
Black is undeniably a foolproof, go-to style choice that is sure to look good for a night out. At the same time, ‘foolproof’ doesn’t mean it has to be the end-all-be-all uniform. Whether it’s a leopard print or a spicy hot red, the options are endless for a ootn ensemble that makes an unexpected, enticing statement.
There’s nothing more intriguing than the unique, intricate work of those who live and breathe their passion through the creative medium of fashion. Garments and accessories designed completely from a vision completely generated from personal experience, inspiration and imagination is a true art. This awe and admiration I have for designers’ work is what constantly finds me deep in a rabbit hole lusting over their online showrooms. The of-the-season collections and their noteworthy ready-to-wear is what keeps me coming back every time.
Let’s be honest, the idea of V-Day is all fun and games until it comes down to a week before and you’re secretly freaking out about the surprises your SO is (or is not) planning for the romantic occasion. If you’re like me who has been in a long-term relationship before, you know that after the honeymoon phase, the holiday doesn’t have to be something extravagant or elaborate. But that doesn’t mean you can go the day without a bouquet 😉
