If only I could clink my wine glass with yours through the screen because Decadence Fashion is officially two years old! I want to start off by expressing how thankful I am for the endless amount of love and support you’ve all shown me throughout these past two years. Obviously when I first started my blog, I had no idea what would foster from it nor did I even expect others to pay attention to it – I just did it for myself. Your support is a huge bonus and it means the world.

It may not be the fashion capital of the U.S., but that doesn’t disregard the fashion inspiration and talent that does exist in Milwaukee. I’ve called Milwaukee home for almost 5 years now and it is far more underrated than outsiders realize – even Vogue agrees. Not only do we have such a cool, diverse atmosphere to experience, but the amount of talented creatives hustling in this city is something to take note of. A lot of these individuals are boss fashionistas, bloggers and designers who I’ve already had the pleasure to meet and work with.
Cheers to being halfway through the week loves! I hope you’ve all been having a productive week. I also wanted to give a huge congrats to those that graduated this semester! You might not know it yet, but you’re in for some of the best years of your life.

I felt that I needed to write these thoughts down and share them with you. I’ve been going through some changes in my life recently and I know a lot of you are as well – especially the newest graduates. For me, I feel like I’ve finally come to the point where I can accept and embrace change whether it’s wanted or not. Here’s why:
MAKING MY WAY DOWNTOWN walking fast…you obviously know the rest. I mean how can you not sing these lyrics at the top of your lungs?!
I posted about this last week on my Instagram, but I’m so excited to finally be moving back downtown in Milwaukee; and not living with the parents anymore. As nice as it was to not have to pay rent, a year of it was enough for me. I’m completely ready to move on and start a new chapter.
Happy Wednesday everyone! So today I’m getting personal with you guys – probably the most personal I’ve been so far. I’m sharing with you why I started blogging and what I’ve learned since then. My goal with this is to tell my personal experience to hopefully inspire you. I also want to give you a better glance into my life and who I am; and this story definitely does that.
What better way to celebrate your birthday than with cake and rosé?
