Flower Bouquet & Spring OOTD

If you know me, you know I love flowers. They make me so happy and just put a big smile on my face whenever I walk past them sitting on my table.

At this point in the season, I’m taking advantage of any sunny day no matter what the temperature is. Honestly, it feels like it’s January 126th and I’m starting to forget what warm weather feels like…My mood has been a bit down lately because of it. Thankfully the universe was picking up on my mild case of seasonal depression because I came home to the most beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered from Flowers for Dreams. Can I get an amen?! There’s nothing flowers can’t fix. If you know me, you know I love flowers – so this made my day. It’s the little things.

Operated right in the Midwest, Flowers for Dreams is a floral company based in Chicago, IL and delivers to the Milwaukee area as well. Not only are their flowers gorgeous and locally sourced, but their business model can’t be more amazing. Hence the company’s name, they turn dreams into a reality – every single bouquet sold benefits local charities in the Chicago and Milwaukee communities. How awesome is that? I couldn’t have been happier to see these waiting for me at my doorstep.

The rest of my weekend consisted of admiring these stunning flowers, getting brunch and exploring downtown – the usual. I always like to be out and about on the weekends. Even though it was chilly, being outside in the fresh air made me happy. It’s a nice change of pace from being stuck inside all during the week. Plus, I stumbled upon this absolutely adorable, vintage pale yellow Mustang and couldn’t help but to snap a few photos. I mean could you have resisted?? If only it were baby blue and I would be Sam from A Cinderella Story.

For my outfit, I wore a Topshop vinyl skirt – with tights underneath to stay warm, a simple black tee layered with my favorite oversized blazer from Zara, and my Dr. Martens (I love these babies). Obviously it’s nowhere near feeling like spring, but at this point I refuse to dress like it’s winter any longer. So a skirt with tights was the perfect compromise.

Needless to say, this weekend was a good one. Thank you again Flowers for Dreams for my beautiful flowers! I hope you all have a great week and let’s cross our fingers for some weather that actually can make flowers bloom.

xx Ashley
