Alright babes, let’s make 2019 the best yet. A yoga class here and a cycle class there is great, but it’s time to start now in finding and maintaining a consistent workout routine. If you don’t know where to start – I got you. Trust me, life’s more fun with a healthier mindset and a tighter butt. A consistent workout routine will give you both plus so much more!VIEW THE POST
“As viewers, we bear no witness to outfit experimentation…because everyone today is hell-bent on the final product. And that product, of course, is increasingly the same: a rotation of the same buzzy brands on a similar canvas, one with no-makeup makeup and an enviable case of “bedhead” that really takes hours to come to life.”

I recently read an article on whowhatwear.com, “The Death of Personal Style” that had ideas written in words I was only pondering – until now. For many reasons, this article evoked a reflection and discussion I felt necessary to write here on the blog. Entering into 2019, now more than ever are the world and its industries constantly evolving – including the fashion industry. Primary factors, which greatly influence these industries today, were nonexistent even ten years ago. Among these, is the dominating presence of social media. You know the major ones: Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Within the fashion industry, social media has incrementally changed the content people are consuming day to day and therefore, has drastically impacted consumer behavior as a whole.VIEW THE POST
Further shining light on 2018, I’ve rounded up my absolute favorite looks from this year, and as you can tell, a good amount of them are from certain events that I so happily got to dress up for. You know I love any excuse to get glammed up.VIEW THE POST
With the dwindling days of the year comes a metaphorical end of a life stage – or at least I like to view it in this way. Sure the end of a calendar year doesn’t signify any true “end” to a certain life period, but it is a symbolic time in which I utilize it as an opportunity for reflection – as do many. This is a time in which I wholeheartedly reflect on the past year by acknowledging the highs and accepting the lows in order to move on.VIEW THE POST
A winter wonderland is undeniably the ideal landscape for this time of year, but that doesn’t make bracing the cold any more enjoyable. The colder temperatures make dressing appropriately consist of layers upon layers of cozy knits and heavy coats; which I think, in turn, makes for the perfect ensemble. There’s something much more exciting about dressing for the fall and winter than dressing for the summer – don’t you agree? What better way to survive the season than bundling up in a statement coat and a huge blanket scarf?
Calling all fashionistas, deal-seekers, online style stalkers, and avid-shoppers alike, it is that time of the year my friends. As I always say, shop ’til you drop – but only after you fuel up on the turkey and pumpkin pie. The list of awesome deals is even longer than last year’s, so get excited. If you’re curious to know, on my lust list is Reformation, The M Jewelers and Levi’s of course. Take a look below and happy shopping!
