Keep in mind, it is all about layering. The weather is still fluctuating, so it is a good idea to layer depending on how warm or cold you get. For this time of year, I love layering sweaters under light jackets. Incorporating your cozy, winter sweaters with your spring jackets is one of the best and easiest ways to transition your style. This kind of look will ensure you to not be too cold or too warm.

It is time to put the heavy parka away and opt for a lighter jacket, such as the trench coat I am styling for you today. Trench coats are a spring season classic, and an effortless piece to throw on and look put together. Even better, trench coats are one of the top spring trends for this year. On the S/S ’17 runways, designers gave the classic cut a twist with more draping and bigger buckles.

The trench coat I am wearing is from H&M. Unfortunately, I got it last spring season so it is not available anymore. But do not fear, because your girl has your back and found you amazing (and inexpensive) alternatives. If you are looking for a classic style, similar to the one I am wearing, these coats from H&M and Express fit the definition. Forever 21 has a lot of great options as well that give the same look but are even less expensive.

Finally for the rest of the look, I kept it simple and sleek with black pants and black booties. For the perfect touch, I wore my favorite gold choker.

Let me know what your favorite pieces are to wear for Spring!

xx Ashley
