DETAILS: REVOLVE X CHRISSY TEIGEN DRESS | STEVE MADDEN HEELS | ALDO BAG
It may not be a fashion capital, but there are definitely some fashion inspiration and talent in Milwaukee. I’ve called Milwaukee home for almost 5 years now and it is far more underrated than outsiders realize – even Vogue agrees. We have equally a cool, diverse atmosphere to experience with a crazy amount of talented creatives hustling in this city. From boss fashionistas, bloggers, and designers, they definitely have a presence here. This past weekend was Milwaukee Fashion Weekend and a lot of creatives came together to see the show.
I was so excited to attend – especially in this amazing dress by Revolve. This dress was a standout in my eyes – the color, structure and silhouette were perfection. When I first tried it on I knew I immediately had to wear it for the event. The low neckline is so flattering and the long sleeves and cinched waist give the most beautiful shape. For the rest of the look, I kept it simple with nude heeled sandals and a studded bucket bag from Aldo.
As for the collection during Milwaukee Fashion Weekend, there was an interesting blend of theatrical, lingerie and ready-to-wear. Unique to each designer, the collections were a true reflection of their individual love and passion for fashion. This was obviously transparent as each model walked down the runway. In each collection I discovered an abundance of styles, colors, and themes. These collections embodied diversity and individuality that was unexpected but truly a fresh presentation amongst the clothing normally expected. Each of these creatives definitely march to the beat of their own drum and own vision.
Thank you MKEFW for having me and letting me be a part of this fun experience. I can’t wait to attend next year.
