At the photo studio, I primarily managed all off-fig samples according to shooting schedules. In this role, I constantly collaborated with sample specialists, project managers, producers, art directors, stylists, photographers, and graphic designers on multiple projects: including OMNI, brand photography, ISM, and social media.
As a strong cross-functional partner and individual, I was pro-active in aiding other creative teams with their workload. This included gathering samples and assets for the social team’s monthly conversation calendars, organizing samples for on-fig shoots, and managing sample requests for catalog collection shots.

Previously at the studio, I capitalized on the background knowledge I acquired, to excel in my current role. As a merchandise specialist, I’ve grasped how to view the business analytically while naturally possessing a creative focus. I’ve fully developed an equal understanding of the goals of merchants and creative teams’, and their strategies to drive sales. This understanding has furthermore allowed me to strategize creative solutions in order to fulfill the intentions of both teams.
Acting as a liaison between multiple cross-functional partners and vendors, I’ve efficiently helped launch 500+ new products to the kitchen electrics assortment. I’ve helped deliver customer solutions by providing innovation; securing market relevancy Kohl’s relevant; creating a strong competitive advantage. Driving sales through compelling customer choices in-store and online, with a stellar web presence – through high-quality copy, imagery, and video – has been a huge win. Managing new product launches, I’m involved beginning with initial vendor discussions through the first shipments of product. In print and digital advertising, I’ve coordinated over 45 photography requests, from brainstorming photo concepts through sample submission to the creative teams, in order to present this high-quality product imagery. In addition, I edit all copy for print advertising :tab, direct mail, and catalog, through each review stage. I ensure to keep consistency with all product descriptions, while maintaining brand voice, to clearly communicate to the customer big items and ideas.
